The Story Behind the Pages
A glimpse into the story of who I am.
I never planned…
I never planned to write a blog. But somewhere between quiet campgrounds, long drives, unexpected conversations, and encouragement from those around me, I began seeing God’s fingerprints everywhere.
I’m AnnaLee, and this is the story behind the pages–you might call it the backstory.

Snapshots from the Journey

Who I Am…
I’m a preacher’s kid, a military wife, a mother, and a retired teacher. Growing up in a pastor’s home, I learned about Jesus not only through sermons in church, but also through the way my parents lived out their faith. My dad was both a preacher and a cowboy, so I grew up riding horses and often joined him on visits to farms and ranches, watching as he ministered to people with humility and love.
USAF Wife…
As a military wife, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel, form friendships that quickly became family, and witnessed the sacrifices required to serve our country. Those years deepened my gratitude for both freedom and faith. I am very proud of our military men and women. The American Flag is special to me. Patriotism and pride in our country are important values.

High School Algebra Teacher
Teaching high school mathematics kept me sharp and connected with the next generation. More importantly, it gave me opportunities to encourage young hearts and, when the door opened, to point them to Christ. The best days were when I realized that I really did make a difference! I learned from both my peers and my students. Many good memories were made.
Retired, Traveling With My Husband
Now retired, my husband and I are living our dream of traveling the United States in our RV. Along the way, I began jotting down reflections about our journeys and posting them online. Again and again, I saw God’s fingerprints in the beauty of creation and everyday moments. Encouraged by friends, I began writing more intentionally—leading to the creation of Grace on the Road.

Grace on the Road
This site is a place for testimonies, reflections and stories from the journey—both on the road and in faith. I’d love for you to come along, share your thoughts and perhaps even find encouragement for your own walk with Jesus.
What’s Your Story?

His Story
His story is one of love, sacrifice, and restoration.
Jesus loves you so much that He died for you. He rose again, conquering death. He invites you into His family, offering forgiveness, hope, and the promise of heaven with everlasting life.
Make His story a part of your story.
The Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—give firsthand accounts of Jesus’ life. You can read these stories using the Bibles linked below. The first link leads to Bible Gateway, and the second to Blue Letter Bible. Both offer study tools and commentary to help you explore God’s Word. Choose the one that fits you best.
